A question arises that how to make your blog popular on social media like Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Stumbleupon, Pinterest, etc. Before asking this question, people should ask one more question to themselves and that is how you can convince others to share your content. We are human begins and always get biassed towards bigger brands although we may get a better product from a not that popular brand or a new brand.
In the same way, we also prefer blogs that we are consistently reading and following even though a new blog provides you with a better piece of content. Virtual Content Buzz is a tool that may help you to overcome such problem at the same time promoting your blog post on social media. Increasing your blog presence on social media is also an excellent Off page SEO technique. To know more, you can go through the below links
Viral content buzz works on the same principle of link exchange but here you have the choice of sharing relevant content. Also, the people who are sharing your content will share content relevant to their field. In this way, people working in the same area are connected through social media even though they do not know each other before. The principle of Viral content Buzz is simple. You share my content; I will share yours. The magic here is that you are not forced to share the links of the person who shared your link. This is what I like about this tool. No restrictions on sharing.
I was never in favour of link exchange to promote a blog as it was tough to understand that what quality of content we are linking to. Also, after the Google Penguin update link exchange should be avoided as blogs and websites with irrelevant backlinks are penalised by Google.
Now, coming to our point – ‘How to get more traffic to your blog using Viral Content Buzz’ Before knowing this, we should be aware how to use the tool first. To find out more, you can go through the video below
How to use Viral content Buzz to generate more Social Shares
# Open an account with VCB
Go to Viral Content Buzz home page and register with them. You can use your Twitter and Facebook account for registering. Alternatively, you can register with them using your email id and other details. After you have created the account you can log in. After logging in you are presented with the Dashboard as shown below.
Here you can share content submitted by other people on various platforms. At the time of writing this blog Viral Content Buzz supported sharing on four social media platforms namely
For every share made, you will earn credits that you can use to promote your blog posts on social media. On the left-hand side, there is a category list that you can select to share content related to a particular category.
# Add Project and assign credits
The next step is to add your blog post for promotion on the Viral content buzz. To do so, you have to click on the Add Project button on the top menu as shown in the above screenshot. Then you are presented with the form as shown below
Add your sharing item by mentioning the URL, blog post title and a small description about the blog post. When you scroll down, you are present with an array of categories that your blog post falls into. Just select the three most appropriate categories. Although selecting three groups is not a compulsion but I like to choose at least two categories to make maximum out of Viral content Buzz.
You have to remember one thing that content is shared manually and not by bots and thus, the category should be selected judiciously.
You should assign individual credits to your project. The credits that you have earned by sharing content on different social media networks can be used here. The credits assigned will be deducted from your total credits that you can see on the top right of the page when you log in to your account.
Below the categories, there are several options. These options help you to promote your content on a specific social media networking sites. If you want to promote your content on all the social media networks, you can do that. It all depends on your choice of social platform and preference.
I promote my content on Twitter and thus, I allow only Twitter sharing. This is how it goes, your choice your way. No compulsion on choosing any social media network. You should also select a relevant tag for the blog post you want to promote.
After doing all the above stuff, just put a tick in front of ‘I have read the quality guidelines’ and click on the submit button and your project for your selected blog post will be created.
# Approval of project and monitoring
Your created project is not straight forward displayed on the Dashboard for sharing. VCB team will approve your project manually to ensure that there is no spamming activity going around. They will check your social media accounts that you have linked to human endeavour. After approval, you can monitor your blog posts by clicking on my project tab on the top menu. You will be taken to the page as shown below.
Here you can monitor the number of credits you have assigned to your blog posts, the number of credits left and also the number of credits spent. You are also able to see the approval status of you project below the project title.

This tool helped me a lot to build social media relations with my fellow bloggers. I hope that this tool will also be helpful to you in the same way as it was to me. One of my blog posts reached 15 shares from 0 by using this tool. Although it is not a significant number, it helped me to get ten new viewers and three email subscribers.
